Back to School Prayer Points

Hello Family & Friends! Welcome to the Shiloh HUB blog page.

Now, I know you know this… but “Back to School Season” has officially started! It is so imperative that we use strategy as teachers, educators, parents, guardians, elders, intercessors to cover the academic school year and children.

Here are some prayer points to keep in mind when praying for the children:

  1. WISDOM & DISCERNMENT

    • Lord, today I ask that you keep ___ in perfect Wisdom & Discernment. I pray that you will guide her/him. I pray that You will grant them wisdom to know right from wrong, discernment to know who has been sent by You and who hasn’t.

      "Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God - who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly - and it will be given to him." James 1:5

      “Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of the one who lacks sense." Proverbs 10:1

  2. OBEDIENCE & THE FEAR OF THE LORD

    • Father, in the name of Jesus I pray that You alone will help ____ to obey You and revere you. I pray that as ___ goes into the world, school, make friends, they will keep you at the forefront of their minds and hearts. I pray that You allow you grace to abound towards ___ to be quick to obey You, and increase the fear of the Lord in their lives in Jesus name.

  3. PROTECTION OF WICKEDNESS

    • Lord Jesus, I pray that throughout this semester, this academic year, Your fire will go before____. Father, for this is your child. Let your fire consume evil teachers, evil spirits, wickedness assigned to ___. Any wickedness ready to enter the heart and soul of ___ let your fire burn around ___. May __ be at the right place at the right time, may the plans of the enemy, to kill, destroy, steal, kidnap, rape, murder, use and abuse ____ be destroyed by Your fire in Jesus name.

    • I come against and burn to ashes spirits of bullying, depression, anxiety, sadness, low self-esteem, muzzling spirits, confusion, and spirits of uncertainty in Jesus name.

    • Let demonic clouds against __ judgement and distractions burn to ashes in Jesus name.

      “For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ” Zechariah 2:5

  4. CONFIDENCE & BOLDNESS

    • Lord Jesus, I pray that you increase Your boldness in ___. May ___ be bold in who you made and called her/him to be, bold in preaching the gospel, bold about standing for Jesus in the midst of an unbelieving system and people. Confident in themselves, confident to freely speak, and not be timid in Jesus name.

    • I declare ____ is favored, is glorious, confident, bold, a defender of righteousness, a leader, and a voice of godly justice in Jesus name.

      "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

  5. PROVISION of HEAVENS UNLIMITED SUPPLY

  • Father in the name of Jesus I ask that Your infinite supply of resources, knowledge, scholarships, help, intelligence, wisdom, understanding, favor with all men, your supply of goodness and mercies locate ____ and be their portion.

    "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19

Guardians and friends, remember to constantly give these children to the Lord, He is faithful enough and most powerful. His eyes are steadfast on these children.
